Festival Adventures

For the past week there have been fireworks going on every night. Different places have firework shows on different days. I can hear them from my room and most of them I can see, too. I just haven't known when to go out and see them. A couple days ago, there was a celebration for the anniversary of the person who tried to blow up parliament. (Yeah, I know that sounds weird but that is what they celebrated.) Today on the other hand, there was a parade in the morning for the Lorde Mayor of London and then fireworks at night. I'm not sure if the fireworks were related to the parade because there have been so many celebrations this week, it's hard to figure out what is what. But, I won't argue seeing some extra fireworks this year. After those were over, which they only lasted about 10 minutes, we went to go find dinner. We walked around longer to try and find dinner than we actually took to watch the fireworks. While we were walking around we found Covent Garden and all of the Christmas decorations that have been put up all around.
